Beautiful morning, just after sunrise in St Aubins. Building of the south pier of the harbour started in 1754, with the North Pier, where I was standing, being built in 1816. It was the main harbour on the Island until St Helier harbour was built. Today it is just a pleasant place to wander or to stop for a drink
